The fifth lock
Slussen in Stockholm is, in many ways, the key to the city. In 2014, concrete blocks hung suspended in rebar above cyclists, and the city had just begun a large and somewhat undefined construction project.
In this book, the artist group Deadline Art Collective, photographer Susanne Walström, and writer Staffan Bengtsson tell the story of the construction of a fifth version of the lock area —where two mysterious men take the rebuilding into their own hands.
