Slussen No 5 (2025)

NOK 450.00

By Susanne Walström, Deadline Art Collective and Staffan Bengtsson.

Slussen No. 5 documents and reimagines the transformation of Slussen in Stockholm during the early phase of its major reconstruction. Through photography and text, the book reflects on urban change, infrastructure, and the narratives that emerge in transitional spaces.

The project centers on the idea of a “fifth” version of Slussen, where two fictional figures intervene in the rebuilding process, creating a parallel storyline within the real redevelopment of the site.

The book combines documentary material with constructed narrative elements, positioning the city as both physical structure and conceptual stage.
