Guardians of the Tragic Poet presents 19 fragments from a Deadline Art intervention on the island of Gotland, Sweden.

In February 2022 the artists returned to the landscape where earlier work had taken place. Against a cold Baltic winter and a troubled political atmosphere, the island became the setting for a final series of actions in the classic English suits.

The book marks new beginnings as the project moves into a new dress code. We do not want to say “never again”, but there will be other dresscodes in the projects to come.
